This wea very likely a land sale, as the duplex was clean but far from what current buyers would be looking for at tht this price.the beachfront duplex at 516 and 518 The Strand closed in August for $14,500,000. This one is all about the location as the south Manhattan Beach sand section location is about as good as you get.
We don’t see all that many condos for sale on the Manhattan Beach Strand as most ultra wealthy beachfront buyers want the property all to themselves….and who can blame them. Every once in a while situations make for unique properties and at the moment we actually have 2 Strand condos for sale. One isn’t quite facing the beach while the one at 1208 the Strand #B most definitely gets a straight on, unblockable view of the beach, ocean and Manhattan Pier. The market for beachfront homes on the Strand in Manhattan Beach is very unlike the rest of the South Bay or even the rest of Manhattan Beach. As these oceanfront homes garner prices unrealistic for even high end home buyers, they often sit on the market or have numerous price reductions before selling. As they’re also frequently pulled off of the market and then put back on with different realtors, the days on market is actually considerably higher than it shows. Some homes can sit on the market for several years.
