September ended with a bang with a big sale on The Strand.  The beachfront home at 708 The Strand closed on 9/26/25 for $13,250,000.  As with many beachfront home this one had been on the market several times and switched realtors in the middle.  It was original listed in October 2024 at   $16,595,000 taken off of the market in April and then relisted in May with another realtor at $15,550,000. The price was then reduced to $14,999,000 in July and went into escrow on 9/5. The sale appeared to be all cash.

One of the latest homes to hit the market may seem like it’s back on the market, but it’s actually sold both the two prior times it hit the market, so for these purposes this is a new listing.

4320 The Strand was designed by architect  Michael Lee and completed in 2018.   The home is on a very small corner lot in the El Porto area of Manhattan Beach, but the square footage and design achieved was anything but small.

This spacious home hit the market in early September for $13,749,000 and  went into escrow after only 2 weeks and sold for $12,337,500.  It would appear that the sellers were quite motivated.
