One of the two larger west facing units that are currently on the market in Ocean Plaza just went pending.
The list price of $2,595,000 is pretty unheard of with the previous highest sale in the building at $2,030,000 back in 2020 for a larger, but lower floor oceanfront condo.

The big sale of August in Redondo Beach was this beautiful oceanfront home on Paseo De La Playa listed by Chris Adlam of Vista Sotheby’s International Realty.
This oceanfront home in the Hollywood Riviera didn’t look like too much from the street side, but oh how it looks on the ocean side. The home was pretty understated and if you drove by it would look like a typical 1960s home with some upgrades to the exterior.

The newest listing on the beachfront home market on the Manhattan Beach Strand is also one of the more recent sales. Having been built in 2022, the home last sold in June of 2023 for $8,250,000 and is now up for sale once again….this time for $9,995,000. We are not aware of any changes to the home since that sale a year ago.
The home is beautiful and also interesting and unique. Upon entry it feels like a single family home but it’s actually a uniquely laid out condo with another unit above. 4016 has both the lower levels so 2 levels of beachfront. Space is efficiently designed and the home definitely has the “cool” factor with impressive built ins, high end finishes and some stunning views of course.
One negative (if beachfront living can have a negative) is that the home is located in the El Porto area of Manhattan Beach and sits behind the beach parking lot of north Manhattan Beach making it a bit more congested and busier than beachfront homes further south.
