4320 The Strand Manhattan Beach – Beachfront in El Porto
4320 The Strand, Manhattan Beach
Modern Beachfront home for sale at $12,500,000
**UPDATE** Please note that this is an older post and 4320 The Strand was pulled off of the market in August 2025 and is no longer for sale. Click here to search the current homes for sale on The Strand in Manhattan Beach.
There have been an abundance of new (or in many cases relist) listings hitting the beachfront home market lately. It may just be a coincidence or it may be that money seems to be pouring in from displaced fire buyers wanting and needing to find something quickly.
One of the latest homes to hit the market may seem like it’s back on the market, but it’s actually sold both the two prior times it hit the market, so for these purposes this is a new listing.
4320 The Strand is listed by Bryn Stroyke of Bayside.
4320 The Strand was designed by architect Michael Lee and completed in 2018. The home is on a very small corner lot in the El Porto area of Manhattan Beach, but the square footage and design achieved was anything but small.
4320 The Strand features almost endless windows that brings the beach so much closer, allows for incredible light and views and brings in the beach breezes. The home is located on a corner walkstreet meaning no direct neighbor to the north allowing for big views even from the side of the home.
The layout and open floorplan allows for maximum ocean views with multiple levels of floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors.
The design and build maximized the square footage with a multi level layout that allowed for an impressive 3,592 square feet on 5 levels! The square footage with ample outdoor areas are impressive. The location may pose somewhat of a challenge as it’s almost at the very end of the Manhattan sand section and just behind the very busy entrance to the beach/surf parking lot.

The latest listing in the Hollywood Riviera is definitely not like the typical home in the area. This one is a record breaker….or at least trying to.
The home has been on and off the market for years and has always had great potential due to the location and lot size, but it was a BIG project. It first made an appearance in 2011 at $12,000,000 and then sold in 2012 for $6,500,000. It was then put for sale again in 2014 for $16,000,000 and has bounced on and off the market ever since with a number of price reductions (and for some reason a massive price increase at one point) since then. It was last pulled off of the market in 2022 listed at $14,900,000.
Since then it underwent a massive remodel and reimagine that a home with this location and grandeur deserved.
What had once been an ornate palace not really fitting with the beach location has been transformed into a beachfront estate with a casual and elegant interior.
433 Paseo De La Playa is listed by Mark Dessy of Premier Property Solutions.
This gated property sits on a huge beachfront lot that extends all the way to the beach and features stunning views of the ocean and coastline.
With 7 bedrooms 9 bathrooms and over 10,000 feet there’s just too much to mention so please see the listing description below.
Some of the rare highlights included a large theatre, 2 garages for 5 cars, oceanfront swimming pool, direct beach access and so much more.
